Tax Free Strip Clubs in Norway

A Norwegian court has ruled that strip clubs do not have to pay value added tax (VAT) because their services are a form of art performed by artists. You gotta love the way the court system works around the world, Artists not Strippers?

The tax man had taken club operator Blue Engel AS to court for refusing to charge customers an additional 25 percent VAT on ticket sales and lost. There's one for the good guys.

What's more, the state was ordered to pay the court costs of $24,500.
