Eddie Murphy splits with Mel B

Comedian Eddie Murphy has split up with his pregnant girlfriend former Spice Girl Mel B just months before the couple were due to have their first child.

The Beverley Hills Cop star had planned to marry Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) before the child was born but now is demanding a paternity test.

Murphy was asked by a Dutch TV interviewer on RTL Boulevard, if he was happy with her (Mel B)? Because is pregnant with his child.

Murphy allegedly replied, "But you're being presumptuous, because we're not together anymore, and we don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,"

"You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

Murphy has wasted little time in finding a new playmate. He began dating Tracey Edmonds about six weeks ago.

The 45-year-old Murphy took Edmonds to the New York premiere of his new film Dreamgirls.

The comic actor does have one slight problem though, in a moment of madness he decided it was wise to get a tattoo with Mel B’s name on it.
